Last updated: 16 July 2026
Amber Global Health connects internationally qualified nurses, doctors, care workers and allied health professionals with employers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland — and supports them through registration, relocation and the whole journey. From here to where you belong.
Our story
Amber began with a problem its founder had watched play out for twenty-five years.
Sam Easen has spent his career, across the UK and Australia, in healthcare recruitment and workforce technology — long enough to see the same story repeat on both sides of every international hire. Employers losing good candidates to slow, opaque processes. Agencies charging fees that were never quite justified by the value they added. And, most painfully, skilled nurses and care workers arriving in a new country underprepared for what was actually waiting for them: the registration maze, the clinical differences, the culture, and the isolation of starting over far from home.
The gap was never really about qualifications. It was about preparation. The distance between a willing international professional and a genuinely work-ready one is where almost every international hire quietly goes wrong — and where candidates lose months, savings and confidence they never needed to.
Before Amber, Sam founded Qintil, a workforce learning and compliance platform used across healthcare and acquired in 2025. That work proved something simple: technology, built properly, can take the friction and guesswork out of getting people ready for work. Amber applies that lesson to the hardest version of the problem — helping healthcare professionals move countries and build a career on the other side.
So we built Amber to close the preparation gap, and to do it honestly. Registration is free, so no one pays simply to be seen. Membership is where the real value sits: destination-specific training, a readiness interview with a clinician, an Amber Readiness Badge that actually means something to employers, and a named Journey Advisor who stays with you from your first question to your first shift. Our guides tell the truth about timelines and costs, even when the truth is inconvenient. We are not a migration agent and we don't pretend to be — we prepare people, verify them, and connect them directly to the employers who are hiring.
For employers and agents across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland, that means candidates who are genuinely ready — not CVs to sift through, but people who have already done the work.
We're building Amber with a founding group of candidates, employers and training partners who are shaping what it becomes. If you're a nurse, doctor, care worker or allied health professional wondering whether the move is really possible — it is, and this is the place to start. From here to where you belong.
— Sam Easen, Founder & CEO
